I don’t know what I’d do without this site when I’m trying to figure out whether or not I’ve just been unlucky grinding some random drop in a game or whether it really should take a zillion repetitions.
I guess I’m always looking for “stats for nerds”!
Heres a question I might have. If I have a 1 in 6 chance of rolling a 6 on a die, if I roll the die 10 times how often would I not even get a single 6?
The answer was that a full 16% of the time I might not roll a 6. (or 84% chance I’d roll 1 or more 6s).
The site Stat Trek will even teach you all of the math behind it.. I usually just go for the answers, but maybe one day…….!
